Coach JaquishHEAD CHEER COACH & VARSITY COMPETITION
Coach Jaquish has taught English for 29 years, with 21 of those years here at The Mountain. She graduated from North Cobb High School and earned a BA in English Education from Berry College and MEd from Kennesaw State University in Secondary English Education. She coached Cheer at both Cartersville High and Woodland High before taking a long coaching hiatus to focus on her family. Her three boys are now Mustang Alumni. One is a recent graduate of Sewanee, the University of the South; the other two are currently students at KSU. Coach Jaquish is excited to return to her third year coaching Cheer at The Mountain! Coach Thompson has been cheering for a total of 13 years and coaching for the last 4. Collectively she has Two World Championship titles and Two State Championship titles under her belt. Along with those accomplishments she was also named as First Team All State throughout her High School career. Coach Thompson is looking forward to bring the best out of the KMHS Competition Cheer Athlete with a positive approach! She cannot wait to get started and be apart of Mustang Nation! |
Coach WadeVARSITY & JV FOOTBALL SIDELINE COACH
Coach Wade brings a wealth of experience to her role as a Sideline Coach, with a background in teaching math and coaching various sports including Fast Pitch Softball and Basketball Cheer. Her 15 years of teaching experience, coupled with her tenure at Kennesaw Mountain for the last 6 years, indicate her strong commitment to education and the local community. Her alma mater, Harrison High School, and her teaching degree from Kennesaw State University underscore her ties to the area. Returning for her second year as a Sideline Coach, Coach Wade is very excited for the season ahead! Coach NapoleonASSISTANT VARSITY COMPETITION COACH
Coach Napoleon is a veteran teacher, with 14 years of experience under her belt both in the classroom and as an administrator. She’s happy to have been welcomed to the Mountain just last year and excited to take on a new responsibility as the JV Competition Cheer Coach. She has coached various sports in her previous role at Johnson High School in Hall County, including Competition Cheer for her last three years there. She attended Brookwood High School in Gwinnett County and went on to receive her Bachelors’ degrees and Master’s Degree at the University of Georgia. After a short break from coaching and moving into an administration position at her last school, the Gwinnett School of Mathematics, Science, and Technology in Gwinnett County, she took time to finish her Ph.D. in Teaching and Learning at Georgia State University. Though her first time joining the coaching squad at the Mountain, she brings experience and excitement with her to the team! |
Coach Presley ReeseJUNIOR MUSTANG SIDELINE COACH
Presley Reese Williams joins us as a second-year coach, and veteran cheerleader on the KMHS Varsity Sideline and Competition Squad and back to back Region Champs as a flyer and tumbler. Not too long ago she herself was a Junior Mustang Cheerleader. She is grateful and honored to be able to be back as a part of this program. When Presley Reese is not on the sidelines or competition floor, she is a member of the Varsity Golf Team. She also enjoys hanging out with friends, shopping, baking, and Ole Miss Football! In the future Pres hopes to attend the The University of Mississippi with interest in dermatology and a minor in Mom-ing. |
Coach Ella ReeceJUNIOR MUSTANG SIDELINE COACH
Ella Reece Arnold joins us as a first-year coach and veteran cheerleader on the KMHS Sideline and Competition Squad and The Stingrays Allstars as strong backspot. Ella Reece was a Junior Mustang Cheerleader all three years of her Middle School career and is so excited to be involved and give back to the program that gave her so much. When Ella Reece is not cheering, she enjoys spending time with friends and her beagle pups, shopping, and going to the beach, lake or pool. She plans to attend an SEC College after graduation and major in Law or Forensic Science and solve crimes. |
